Like a tender shoot. . .

We have been enjoying the beautiful 80 degree weather in March these last few days and it has really made me desire to be outside and in God's beautiful creation. I walked around my apartment complex today admiring the new life and growth that happens each Spring...I had to enjoy it today because I'm not sure all of the GORGEOUSNESS will last us through the work week! The contrast between the winter and spring plants reminded my of Isaiah 53 which prophecies the life and death of Jesus. It's a great passage to study during this season of Lent...(which I gave up pop for and has been AWFULLY challenging, but stretching for me!)
I hope you enjoy some of the pictures from my walk and of our cuddly kitty, Lacy.

I have been memorizing (along with the 2nd and 3rd grade Sunday School class at church) the song "Hosanna" and it has been shaping the way that I think about Christ and the journey that he endured here on earth. If you get a chance, listen to the song:

Have a wonderful week!!
